Serving Our Community Since 1983
Support Our Kitchen Renovation Appeal
Shree Krishna Temple has been a place of faith, devotion, and community service since opening in September 1983. For over 40 years, the temple has brought people together through worship, festivals, seva, and cultural celebrations.
Today, we are undertaking the first major renovation of our temple kitchen since the temple first opened its doors.
Over time, the kitchen developed significant damp issues, health and safety concerns, and several ageing appliances stopped working.
To ensure the kitchen remains safe, hygienic, and fit for purpose, essential renovation work is now underway. As the project has progressed, additional issues have been uncovered, increasing the overall cost of the renovation.
Why the Kitchen Matters
The temple kitchen is at the heart of our community and supports:
- Prasad preparation
- Religious festivals and celebrations
- Community gatherings
- Daily seva and volunteering
- Supporting devotees and visitors throughout the year
For many families, the kitchen has been part of countless cherished memories for more than four decades.
Our Fundraising Goal
£40,000
As a charitable temple, we rely entirely on the generosity of devotees, supporters, and well-wishers.
Every donation will help us complete this important renovation and ensure the kitchen can continue serving the community for generations to come.
