Shree Krishna Temple Reopening

About Our Temple

Shree Gujarati Hindu Centre, Shree Krishna Temple was established in 1970 by the Gujarati community in Dudley to support religious, cultural and social life. What began as a small community organisation grew into a permanent centre on Hope Street in 1983, followed by the establishment of a temple space and the consecration of deities in 1991.

Over the years, it has become a vibrant place of worship, festivals and community activities, serving generations of families across Dudley and the wider West Midlands. Today, the Centre continues to preserve Hindu faith and Gujarati heritage while welcoming everyone in a spirit of respect, unity and inclusion.
