Jai Shree Krishna, Whatever your religious belief Jai Shree Krishna,

Whatever your religious beliefs, Christmas is usually a time for spending time with family, resting and of course over indulging on a chocolate selection box. However, we at Shree Krishna Temple recognise that not all members of our Dudley community are as fortunate, and some cannot afford basics food items, let alone luxuries.

This Christmas, members of our Shree Krishna temple community collected and donated items to fill “food bags” which would then in turn be donated to vulnerable patients who had recently been discharged from Russell’s Hall Hospital. Sadly, some of these patients would have been going home to empty cupboards and lonely houses.

A big thanks to all of those who had donated, your small gestures really do make a huge difference!

Thank you.
Jai Shree Krishna, This Christmas, we wanted to Jai Shree Krishna,

This Christmas, we wanted to support the wider community in Dudley who may be experiencing unfortunate hardships. We reached out to the prenatal ward at Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, a hospital where many members of our community have been born or have received medical treatment. The prenatal ward provided us with a list of items that mothers and premature babies would find useful and as a community we came together to support this cause.

We at Shree Krishna Temple want to thank everyone who donated to this event, from nappies to hand knitted clothing, your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting this cause, your donations will make a great impact to those who might have a more difficult start in life than others.

Thank you.
Jai Shree Krishna, With Christmas and the new ye Jai Shree Krishna,

With Christmas and the new year fast approaching, we understand that there are people out there who are in need of help and as a community, we would like to help those people.

Working along side Russells Hall Children's ward, the Children’s Ward are in real need of premature baby items and we wanted to help on behalf of Shree Krishna Temple Dudley working with YOU - our valued members to donate items.

Items include:
New premature baby clothing, nappies, wipes, hats or blankets

All donations to be received by Sunday 20th December in order for us to get them to the hospital before Christmas.

We want to thank you for all your help and donations and we hope we can help those in need just like how somewhere all of our families have needed at some point during our lives.

Thank you.
Jai Shree Krishna, With lockdown in full force an Jai Shree Krishna,

With lockdown in full force and winter approaching, we wanted to help the elderly with ways to keep active by providing an activities box containing puzzles, books and much more. We also made sure that everyone was okay and if they had any needs to help out.

We want to make sure the community is okay during this lockdown as the days go colder and darker and so, helping our loved ones and the ones around us is as important as ever.

Please check up on those who are struggling even if it’s just a quick chat.

Thank you.

As Diwali approaches we wanted to give something back to those who are suffering more than us during the lockdown.

Adhering to the lockdown and social distancing rules, we created a little Diwali bag in hopes to help those that need a little bit more.

Thank you to everyone and stay safe.
